New Majority Endorses Diane Harkey for State Assembly

Tom McKernan, Chairman of New Majority Orange County stated, “Diane Harkey has been a leader in her community for many years.  As Mayor of Dana Point she has been a strong advocate for a balanced budget and a reserve for the city.  She is the kind of leader needed in Sacramento to look for common sense solutions.”

Dwight Decker, Chairman of New Majority Orange County Political Affairs Committee added that Diane will bring a needed perspective to the state legislature – one of a business leader and a local elected official who understands the needs of her constituents.

Over the past 7 years the New Majority has broadened the appeal of the Republican Party by promoting a fiscally responsible philosophy toward government and contributing resources to Republicans who support an inclusive, mainstream approach toward politics.
