New Majority Endorses Steve Poizner for Insurance Commissioner
In making the announcement, Paul Folino, New Majority Orange County
Chairman, stated that Steve Poizner’s experience as a businessman will
make him an excellent fit for this position.
“Steve Poizner will ensure that consumers get the most for their
insurance dollars while keeping California’s business climate
competitive in today’s global economy.”
New Majority Los Angeles County Chairman, John Kilroy Jr., added, “The
New Majority believes that Steve Poizner will work hard at making sure
California has a healthy and competitive insurance market, which will
bring business back to California.”
Over the past seven years the New Majority has broadened the appeal of
the Republican Party by promoting a fiscally responsible philosophy
toward government and contributing resources to Republicans who support
an inclusive, mainstream approach toward politics.
